In a globalized world, where some players are struggling to find their way, SEN RE company has patiently built its structure on the basis of various experience leading results known to all.
If the profession of Reinsurance requires some major financial but also respect of our commitment, the company in this sense has been strengthening its financial and technical capabilities with the participation of a strategic partner with at least fifty(50) years of experience in the Reinsurance field . It has always shown its effectiveness and good governance practices that have enabled her to be in the circle of reference of reinsurers in Africa.
The reactivity of the company which is the basis of its reputation is doubled with the respect to engineering principles and listening to its partners. Thus the number of partners is increasing year by year.
The number of partners is increasing year to year with ever renewed satisfaction. We share this business with others that we are complementary. But a genuine collaboration with the african reinsurers would have allowed the continent ceding companies to find the bulk of their coverage here in Africa.
Recently we have witnessed the birth of captive reinsurances composed of African companies to try and find more effective solutions to problems posed by reinsurances covers but to experience, we believe that this solution has limits. We cannot overemphasize the extroverted behavior of african ceding companies in line to weaken African reinsurers that are their natural partners.
Obviously we cannot obscure the international character of the Reinsurance, even the input from outside the African continent, but a little more African patriotism would have allowed a logical development of the African insurance and reinsurance companies. The inter-african cooperation is the safety of African reinsurances given the many factors that hinder their development.
The utilization of African capabilities provides many benefits to the ceding companies; the benefit from the proximity in a shared environment, and the cost study in accordance with their financial capabilities, not related to certain constraints due to a perfect knowledge of our markets.
